About Healthier Choices MD
Our Mission
The mission of Healthier Choices is to deliver free and confidential quality and harm reduction education and services in communities within Baltimore City, via mobile and other outreach methods, in a non-judgmental manner that reduces the impacts of drug use among high-risk individuals and the general public.
Our History
- Healthier Choices in Maryland was founded in 2023 by 2 educated women with over 30 years of experience in the field of Substance Abuse and Public Policy/Healthcare. We both have obtained license certification from the State of Maryland Board of Professional Therapists and Counselors. We are affiliated with The Department of Health, The Maryland Department of Harm Reduction, and the Speaker Club for the Harm Reduction Program. We are offering a wide range of services and programs to support your health and wellness in the Community.
Our Team
Our team and support staff are highly trained and dedicated to providing the best possible referral and resources. We believe in a collaborative approach to healthcare and work closely with local clinics healthcare facilities and events to ensure the client meets their needs. We provide Narcan groups, HIV education, and Harm reduction education.
